Position: Phlebotomist II
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55407
Shift: Monday-Friday | Central Time | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Overview:
Responsible for patient blood collection, specimen processing, accurate documentation, and providing a safe, professional, and comfortable patient experience.
• Responsibilities:
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following established procedures
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
• Provide excellent customer service and patient care
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and quality standards
• Requirements:
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience
• Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Strong communication, data entry, and organizational skills
• Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work in a high-volume environment
