Location: Minneapolis, MN Pay Rate: $25/hour Employment Type: Contingent (with potential pathway for hire) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Why This Role Matters This role is essential in supporting a high-volume healthcare setting where pediatric collections are required daily. Your expertise and ability to build trust with patients—especially children—will directly contribute to accurate testing and a positive patient experience.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages, with a strong focus on pediatric draws
• Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols
• Verify patient information and obtain required signatures to ensure specimen integrity and compliance
• Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment
• Manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, timely results in a fast-paced setting
• Travel between service locations if needed based on staffing demands

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric phlebotomy experience (required)
• Previous Patient Service Center experience (preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to support business needs
• Ability to meet compliance requirements (Allina credentialing required: MMR, Varicella, Tdap, TB test; COVID and Flu strongly recommended)
