Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:Follow recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics as set by kitchen managementSet up work station according to established expectationsExecute prep tasks from start to finish.Work collaboratively with heart of house staff and front of house staffMaintain cleanliness of all heart of house work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areasParticipate in deep cleaning of heart of house work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areasRestock items as needed throughout the shiftFollow set schedule and give appropriate notification for tardiness and absenceConform to Department of Health requirements to run an A-level kitchenThe starting range for this position is $20.00. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.QualificationsMinimum of two years of culinary experience; luxury hotel and/or high-volume restaurant experience preferredCurrent Food Handler's Card Required (within 30 Days of Hire)Working knowledge of professional cooking techniques, knife skills, food safety, and sanitation practicesAbility to follow recipes with minimal supervision while maintaining consistency and qualityComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with strong time management skillsProfessional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team membersReceptive to feedback with a strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously improveAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishFlexible availability, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
