Role: Desktop Support Engineer


Location : Kenosha, WI


Contract

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for end-user systems, hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and Microsoft applications while ensuring excellent customer service and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1/Level 2 technical support for desktop and laptop systems.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and applications.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions through Active Directory.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and asset management activities.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution and service delivery.
Required Skills:
  • Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
  • Knowledge of desktop hardware, imaging, and deployment tools.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
