Manager, Reimbursement – Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and completion of annual Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports, reimbursement surveys, and regulatory reporting requirements. Coordinate third-party audits with government intermediaries, including gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and analyzing audit adjustments. Monitor and analyze Medicare and Medicaid regulations to evaluate financial impact and ensure compliance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reimbursement reports to support operational decision‑making. Manage reimbursement systems, financial controls, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Partner with internal teams to review financial trends, budget variances, and reimbursement opportunities. Lead, mentor, and oversee one Financial Analyst while supporting team development and performance. Manager, Reimbursement – Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. 5+ years of healthcare reimbursement experience required. Strong experience preparing Medicare Cost Reports and working with Medicare/Medicaid regulations. 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience with third‑party audits, reimbursement analysis, and regulatory reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Experience with Oracle, EPIC, or reimbursement‑related systems is a plus.
