Job Title: Pharmaceutical Packer
Job Description
The Pharmaceutical Packer plays a key role in pharmaceutical packaging operations by setting up, operating, shutting down, and cleaning production equipment in a cGMP environment. This position ensures that products are packaged accurately and safely while following standard operating procedures and maintaining precise documentation.
Responsibilities
Set up pharmaceutical packaging and production equipment according to standard operating procedures in a cGMP environment.
Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
Shut down and clean all production-related equipment following established SOPs and cGMP standards.
Complete all required production and packaging documentation accurately and legibly in accordance with SOPs.
Follow all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area within the cleanroom environment.
Monitor packaging processes for accuracy, quality, and consistency, and report any issues promptly.
Perform general labor tasks related to pharmaceutical packaging and production as needed.
Adhere to all company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in a GMP environment.
Participate in initial and ongoing training, including classroom-based safety and procedural training.
Essential Skills
Experience in a pharmaceutical or similar GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
Experience working with pharmaceutical processing equipment in a GMP environment.
Prior packing or packaging experience in a production setting.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging and documentation.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
Reliability and consistency in performing repetitive production and packaging tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in pharmaceutical production or pharmaceutical packaging.
Background in general labor within a manufacturing or production environment.
Comfort working with cGMP standards and cleanroom protocols.
Willingness to participate in professional development and continuous learning opportunities.

Work Environment
This role is based in a cleanroom environment that follows strict cGMP and safety standards. There are multiple shift options, including first shift from 6:30 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. (Monday through Friday) and second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 10:40 p.m. (Monday through Friday). Initial onboarding includes classroom-based training, typically Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., focused on safety and procedural instruction. The position requires standing for extended periods and performing hands-on, production-related tasks. The company supplies appropriate personal protective equipment, including hair nets, beard nets, and safety glasses. Steel-toe shoes are not required; safety shoes are provided once per quarter. Additionally, once per quarter, both permanent and temporary employees may receive prescription safety goggles and safety shoes up to a specified value, ensuring comfort and protection while working in the facility.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
