PURPOSE OF POSITION A Mental Health Therapist at Catholic Charities: Provides clinical assessment/problem identification, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy, and case management to OB/Gyn patients, expectant women, fathers, and their families at Marisol Health Clinics. Works as member of a multidisciplinary, collaborative care team, provides expert subject matter consultation to staff and ensures the integration of a continuum of services through Catholic Charities and community resources Provides comprehensive behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients in an OB/GYN clinic Delivers evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including depression, anxiety, OCD, and birth-related trauma Assesses and treats current and historical trauma, including complex trauma, intimate partner violence, and adverse childhood experiences Utilizes evidence-based trauma treatments such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), EMDR, and other validated modalities Provides dyadic and family-based interventions to support the parent-child relationship, attachment, and early childhood development Addresses attachment disruptions in infants and young children using developmentally appropriate, relationship-based approaches Provides case-specific clinical supervision and documentation review to pre-licensed clinicians and unlicensed professionals providing behavioral health services per the agencys Rendering Provider Oversight policy. Collaborates with OB/GYN providers, midwives, lactation consultants, and care coordinators to support integrated care delivery Participates in warm handoffs and same-day behavioral health consultations within the clinic setting Delivers brief, solution-focused interventions as well as longer-term therapy when clinically indicated Provides psychoeducation on perinatal mental health, trauma, and infant/early childhood development Maintains accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards Participates in case consultation, interdisciplinary team meetings, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives Performs appropriate case management; Documents client contacts and progress in accordance with accepted charting standards. Establishes and maintains relationships with referral sources and community agencies. Documents client contacts and progress in accordance with agencys electronic health records systems and in compliance with program requirements. Completes necessary administrative duties timely and accurately. Provides education, training and/or planning in mental health human service issues as appropriate. LCSW, LPC, or PsyD) in the state of Colorado Demonstrated experience providing evidence-based treatment for trauma-related disorders, including both acute and complex trauma Training and/or certification in at least one evidence-based trauma modality (e.g., CPT, TF-CBT, EMDR, or equivalent) Experience working with perinatal populations, including pregnant and postpartum women preferred Clinical experience supporting parents, infants, and young children, including dyadic or family-based treatment approaches preferred Knowledge of attachment theory and experience addressing attachment-related concerns in early childhood EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Masters degree (MA/MS/MSW) or doctorate degree from accredited college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training in the field of counseling psychology, social work, or related field; Knowledge and experience in the field of perinatal mental health, early childhood mental health, and trauma-informed practice is preferred CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Licensed Therapist Valid drivers license and proof of insurance required.
