Cafe/Bar Operations Manager

Overview A dual‑concept all‑day café and listening lounge bar opening in the India Street District of Portland seeks an experienced Operations Manager with 10+ years of hospitality experience with at least 2 years management experience. The right candidate will have a passion for customer engagement in addition to experience in the trenches of both the FOH and BOH. This concept will have breakfast, midday and nightlife/bar services—7 days a week. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to build and run the day‑to‑day operation from the ground up. This is not a role for someone who manages existing systems; this is a role for someone who builds them. You will work directly with the founder to establish everything that makes a hospitality business run: beverage program, food program, vendor relationships, staffing, training, scheduling, and the systems that hold it all together. You will be the operational heartbeat of this operation.
