About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 12H Nights, 7 on/7 off (Thursday-Wednesday) Hours per Shift: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. + required call Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Texas MRT license Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT) Must-Have: - Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with the organization within the past year. - Candidates who were employed through outside firms will be considered. Description: Profiles go directly to the manager for consideration. A copy of the driver's license is needed to validate the legal name. The profile must reflect the name on a government-issued ID with no middle initial or middle name. First to float between campuses as needed. Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination. May be asked to precept as needed by the unit. Department is Radiology (CT). Unit will provide the radiation dosimetry badge. Scanners include three GE units (one 16-slice and two 64-slice). Types of studies include CTs with and without contrast. Experience in ER and inpatient settings is preferred. Average number of scans per day is 16 to 24. Charting system is Meditech / Fuji. Radiologists available during the day, virtually at night for emergencies. Starting IVs is required. Must work weekends, every other week. Holidays are occasionally required, rotating with permanent staff. Call is required with a 30-minute response time. The call rotation is every sixth week, with specific hours outlined for off weeks. Scrubs must be black and are not provided. Cancellation policy allows the facility to cancel up to four shifts for assignments of 13 weeks or fewer. This position requires a commitment to high standards of patient care.
