Assembler

Position Summary Assembler (M-TH 5am - 3:30PM). Assemble or fit parts that form a complete unit or sub‑assembly using hand or power tools or special equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Construct and assemble sub‑assemblies and components including shafts, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes, and conveyor components. Perform fitting and assembly operations. Repair / refit products as required. Work independently to read blueprints and bills of materials. Set all critical bearing clearances and shaft locations without supervision. Complete other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience High school graduate. 0-2 years mechanical experience (2-4 preferred). Knowledge of mechanical/hydraulic assembly (preferred). Basic mathematical skills. Understanding of parts preparation. Ability to read blueprints. Own tools; use hand tools such as drills, grinders, sockets, wrenches, etc.; company provides larger tools. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, customer service orientation. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
