Travel X-Ray Radiologic Technologist - $2,309 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week acute care hospital assignment in Sacramento, California. Assignment Details Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Perform X‑ray examinations on all floors, departments, and in surgery. Use equipment such as GE, Gen Rad, R&F, Carestream portables, OEC C‑Arms, and O‑Arms. Operate in an acute care hospital setting within a radiology department. Chart studies via Cerner EMR. Complete 4‑hour day shifts with varied start times (6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM). Provide 3‑day monthly call: weeknights 6:00 PM–7:00 AM and 24/7 on weekends, with 30‑minute response time. Receive at least 30 days advance notice for the call schedule. Qualifications Minimum 2 years X‑ray/Radiology Technologist experience. Active ARRT (R) certification. Active BLS certification. Active CA Fluoroscopy Permit. Active CA Radiology License. Valid driver’s license. Two professional references within required timeframes. Additional Information Candidates directly employed by any CommonSpirit‑affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible (PRN through outside staffing firms accepted). Radiation badge will be provided by the agency. Orientation: 12 hours. Compensation Pay package based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
