- Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Monday to Friday (6 AM to 2 PM ET; 2 PM to 10 PM ET)
- This is a full-time permanent position with benefits
Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Scanning Center Operator to support our high-volume shipping operations. This critical role involves accurately scanning outbound shipments, sorting them by carrier, and placing them into designated containers for final dispatch. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and capable of handling large volumes of parcels quickly and precisely.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
- Prior experience in high-volume scanning or document processing required (experience with RICOH and IBML scanners preferred)
- Proficient in operating scanning equipment and associated software
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with digital filing systems
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and maintain consistent productivity
