Comfort Keepers of Mid-Shore Maryland is actively hiring compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for our State and VA clients in Chestertown, Worton, Rock Hall, Galena, Kennedyville, Betterton, and the surrounding Kent County communities.

Current Openings:

We're hiring immediately for a variety of shifts, including:

• Morning shifts.
• Afternoon shifts.
• Evening shifts.
• Overnight shifts (as available).
• Weekday and weekend opportunities.

Qualified applicants may be able to start as early as next weekend!

Pay Opportunities:

State Client Assignments:

• $17.50 per hour.
• Our primary hiring need.
• One-on-one care in clients' homes.
• Multiple schedules available.

VA Client Assignments:

• Up to $19.50 per hour.
• Consistent Monday-Friday schedules.
• Occasional weekend coverage may be available.
• VA clients are typically assigned one dedicated caregiver to provide continuity of care.

Responsibilities:

As a Comfort Keepers CNA, you will help seniors remain safe and independent by providing compassionate one-on-one care, including:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Helping with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Medication reminders.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition.
• Completing accurate documentation after each shift.
• Following each client's individualized Plan of Care.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have:

• Active Maryland CNA Certification (Required).
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Current automobile insurance.
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
