Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.Job Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:Process vendor invoices by matching purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices, ensuring proper approvals and accurate coding prior to entry in SAP.Enter, review, and post Accounts Payable transactions in SAP while maintaining batch control procedures and ensuring accuracy in the General Ledger.Review and reconcile purchase order accruals, unmatched invoices, outstanding payables, expense reports, and month-end accruals to support accurate financial reporting.Prepare, issue, and distribute vendor payments, ensuring required approvals, signatures, and timely processing of checks.Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and other accounts payable concerns.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancement opportunities and assisting with additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree, major in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other related field and 2 – 4 years AP/AR/GL experience.WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:Experience in Excel is requiredExperience in SAP is strongly preferredWHY WORK HERE?Health Insurance (includes telemedicine, FSA, HSA, and other benefits)Dental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) with matchEmployee Profit Sharing PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition ReimbursementReferral Program - Up to $1,000 per hired referralOnsite cafeteria with multiple fresh-cooked options and salad bar, and fully stocked breakrooms throughout plantAnnual events (Summer cookout, Christmas party, etc.)Onsite Nurses' officeOnsite Mother's roomPay range: $50,000 - $60,000 annual salaryVISA SPONSORSHIP NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION#LI-JC1 #LI-SF1#LI-OnsiteAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
