This state hospital operates as an inpatient psychiatric facility providing structured mental health services for adult patients requiring ongoing treatment. The facility maintains clinical support staff to ensure continuity of care within a dedicated inpatient environment, with a census of 28-30 patients. Credentialing for this assignment is estimated to take 4-6 weeks, and all travel expenses are covered. Locum tenens coverage is sought while a permanent clinician is identified.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for adult patients during day shifts, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medications for adults within a state hospital inpatient setting, with each patient seen once per week. No EMR is utilized for this assignment, and no call requirements are associated with this position. A Washington state medical license, board certification, and prescriptive authority are required.
