On‑call rota operates on a 1 in 10 basis, offering a £150 standby payment plus a minimum £200 call‑out payment at time and a half rates. A dedicated support team is the first point of contact for all call‑outs by phone, often resolving issues before engineer attendance is required; rota flexibility allows colleagues to swap weeks when needed. Occasional overnight stays may be required – typically one to three nights at a time, once every 2–3 months; all accommodation and expenses are covered.
