Join us and make an impact on patient care through innovation and compassionate support!If you want to be part of a growing organization committed to healing, hope, and advanced care, join us and help make a meaningful impact!Job Description:MRI Technologist Location: Brooklyn (Nostrand Ave), NYSchedule: 4/10 hour shifts per week Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)Key ResponsibilitiesAs an MRI Technologist at NYI, your responsibilities will include:Maintain and adjust imaging equipment.Calibrate MRI (MRA) consoles and peripheral hardware.Operate injectors with proficiency.Ensure patient safety using aseptic injection techniques and appropriate pre-screening.Address patient concerns throughout the procedure.Flush IV lines post-contrast injection.Accurately follow physician orders for imaging areas.Prepare patients for procedures, including medical history review and answering procedural questions.Shield exposed areas of the body to protect the patient during imaging.Attach physiological monitoring leads as necessary.Provide headphones for patient comfort.Properly position patients for imaging.Maintain accurate patient medical records.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Associate DegreeCurrent state licenseCPR certificationMinimum of one year of continuous MRI experienceStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to patient care and safetyWhat We OfferCompetitive Salary: Starting at $60-$72/hrComprehensive Benefits Package including:Health Insurance (effective Day 1)Dental, Vision, Life InsuranceShort- and Long-Term Disability401(k) plan with company contributionsPaid Time Off (PTO)8 Paid Holidays (2 floating)Professional development and advancement opportunitiesSupportive, Collaborative Work CultureJoin Us Today!Be part of a team that's transforming diagnostic imaging and delivering meaningful results in patient care.
