Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Neurosurgery

Description This on-site, contract position presents a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within the fast-paced and critical field of neurosurgery. As a Locum MD in Neurosurgery, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical services while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with neurological conditions, performing surgeries, and contributing to patient management and recovery plans. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat various neurological disorders Perform neurosurgical procedures with precision and care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Participate in continuous education and training sessions Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice in Washington State Completion of a residency in Neurosurgery Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Commitment to ongoing professional development and education Prior experience in a similar locum role is preferred Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p Daily Volume: 8 clinic patients, 3 procedures Clinical Duties: Outpatient clinic appointments, surgical procedures, post-operative rounding, consultations, etc.
