This inpatient facility in Seattle, Washington provides adult psychiatric care, including acute psychiatric stabilization, within a structured clinical environment. The facility serves an involuntary adult population presenting with conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Locum tenens coverage is sought beginning in January for an initial period of six months.

Seattle offers a broad range of entertainment and recreational options suited to diverse interests. The city features concerts, comedy, theater, sports, and family activities at a variety of venues. Clinicians on assignment will also find indoor attractions and outdoor activities within the surrounding region.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for an adult population, working day shifts totaling 40 hours per week on-site in Seattle, Washington. Clinical responsibilities include rounding on an average of 12 patients per day and managing an average of 3-4 admissions per week, with a patient population consisting of acute adult psychiatric cases including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. All patients are involuntary, with an average length of stay of 21 days and some patients remaining up to 180 days. Call coverage is negotiable, and prescriptive authority is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
