This inpatient facility in Seattle, Washington delivers adult psychiatric care with a focus on acute psychiatric stabilization. The facility serves an involuntary adult population presenting with complex psychiatric conditions, with average lengths of stay ranging from 21 days to 180 days. Locum tenens coverage is sought beginning in January for an initial period of six months to meet the clinical needs of the population served.

Seattle offers a range of live entertainment and recreational options suited to varied interests. Notable venues include Climate Pledge Arena, Benaroya Hall, Lumen Field, and The Neptune Theatre, among others. Clinicians on assignment may also visit the Seattle Aquarium and Pacific Science Center, with additional activities available within 25 miles in the surrounding region.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for an adult population at an on-site facility in Seattle, Washington, working day shifts totaling 40 hours per week. Clinical responsibilities include rounding on an average of 12 patients per day and managing an average of 3-4 admissions per week for an involuntary adult population presenting with acute psychiatric conditions, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Clinicians will conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management within the inpatient setting. Call coverage is negotiable for this assignment, and prescriptive authority is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
