SENIOR PROJECT BILLING & COST ANALYST / SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

Location: Orlando, FL – Research Park
Work Arrangement: Full-time, fully in-office
Salary: $75,000–$85,000
Reports To: Corporate Revenue Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

A growing government services provider is seeking a Senior Project Billing & Cost Analyst to manage project setup, billing, financial reporting, and compliance for government contracts.

This role will work closely with Operations, Project Management, and Contracts while overseeing complex billing activities within Deltek Costpoint.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage project creation, billing setup, and ongoing maintenance in Deltek Costpoint
• Review contract modifications and update funding ceilings, periods of performance, and contract types
• Build project Work Breakdown Structures and assign project and task codes for accurate labor capture
• Manage billing across CPFF, T&M, and FFP government contracts
• Investigate billing variances, unbilled receivables, funding issues, and revenue-recognition concerns
• Prepare and submit government invoices through WAWF/PIEE
• Support annual DCAA Incurred Cost Submissions and indirect-rate applications
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are properly recorded
• Partner with Operations, Project Managers, Contracts, and Finance teams

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 5+ years of government-contracting experience in project billing, project accounting, or contract administration
• Advanced hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint Billing and Project modules
• Strong understanding of CPFF and T&M contracts, including how their billing requirements differ
• Experience with Firm-Fixed-Price contracts
• Experience using WAWF/PIEE government invoicing portals
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DCAA requirements
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and SUMIFS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field—or directly related equivalent work experience
• Strong communication and cross-functional problem-solving abilities
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a background check

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $75,000–$85,000 base salary, based on experience
