Senior Project Manager - Land Development

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex land development projects from initial feasibility through to completion. This role will suit a commercially minded professional with strong technical knowledge, stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for establishing project objectives, preparing delivery strategies, managing programmes and budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved requirements.


Key responsibilities will include managing planning, design, engineering, environmental, infrastructure and construction activities across multiple projects. You will appoint and coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist advisers; oversee procurement and contract administration; monitor project performance; and identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. The role will also involve preparing and reviewing feasibility studies, development appraisals, project reports and financial forecasts, as well as managing approvals, statutory requirements and stakeholder expectations. You will provide clear progress updates to senior decision-makers and support the resolution of complex technical, commercial and programme issues.


Applicants should have substantial experience delivering land development or major infrastructure projects, ideally within a property, development, engineering or construction environment. A relevant degree or professional qualification in project management, civil engineering, construction, property or a related discipline is preferred. You will need strong knowledge of development processes, planning frameworks, infrastructure delivery, consultant management and construction methodologies, together with experience controlling budgets, schedules and project risk. Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be organised, commercially aware and confident working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative project team.
