Project Manager - Land Development

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Land Development to lead the successful delivery of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects from initial feasibility through to completion. This is an opportunity to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects while coordinating technical, commercial, planning, and construction activities to achieve high-quality outcomes, programme milestones, and budget targets.


Key responsibilities will include managing project scopes, budgets, schedules, risk registers, procurement activities, and reporting requirements. You will coordinate consultants, contractors, authorities, utility providers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned throughout the development lifecycle. The role will involve overseeing planning applications, development approvals, infrastructure design, civil works, authority negotiations, tendering, contract administration, and construction delivery. You will also monitor progress, resolve issues, manage variations, maintain accurate project documentation, and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders. A strong focus on safety, quality, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement will be expected.


Applicants should have demonstrated experience managing land development or civil construction projects, ideally within residential subdivisions, infrastructure, or property development. You will bring sound knowledge of planning and approval processes, civil engineering principles, project controls, construction contracts, and relevant legislation and standards. Strong commercial awareness, negotiation ability, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the confidence to make decisions and drive accountability across project teams. A relevant qualification in project management, engineering, construction, property, or a related discipline will be highly regarded. You should be organised, solutions-focused, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
