Job Description Job Description HVAC Installer Location: Linwood, NJ Compensation: $18–$35/hour, based on experience Ace Hardware Home Services is hiring an experienced Residential HVAC Installer to install and replace HVAC equipment across Southern New Jersey. What You’ll Do Install residential HVAC systems, including changeouts and new construction projects. Replace furnaces, condensers, air handlers, coils, and related equipment. Follow installation specs, complete paperwork accurately, maintain tools and truck stock, keep job sites clean, and communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and installation leadership. What You Need Minimum 3–4 years of residential HVAC installation experience. EPA Type 1 and 2 required at minimum; EPA Universal preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, required tools, and ability to pass background, drug screen, and MVR. Preferred Experience NATE certification, OSHA 10/30, brand-specific certifications, and experience with Mitsubishi, Trane, Carrier, or similar systems. Schedule & Perks No on-call requirement. Saturday work may be needed during peak season. Lead installers may receive a take-home vehicle depending on experience and leadership ability.
