K-5 School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Jacksonville, Florida

Qualifications / Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active or eligible state licensure/certification for speech-language pathology
• Experience working with children in grades K - 5, preferably within a school setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with creating and implementing both individual and group therapy plans
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders effectively

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
• Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech or language interventions
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions both individually and in small groups, targeting a range of communication challenges
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other support staff to ensure an integrated approach to student development
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress, meetings, and services
• Participate in parent meetings, staff training, and school-based multidisciplinary teams as needed
