Electro-Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a Precision Electro-Mechanical Technician I to assemble, wire, test, troubleshoot, and repair high-precision spindle assemblies and related electromechanical equipment. This role requires the ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards in a manufacturing environment.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Assemble and wire electro-mechanical spindle systems and components.
• Configure and install electrical components.
• Perform functional testing and inspection of finished assemblies.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical issues.
• Verify product performance against engineering specifications.
• Process incoming and outgoing parts and finished products.
• Maintain tooling, inventory, and stockroom organization.
• Accurately record labor and material transactions within company systems.
• Maintain 5S standards.
• Support quality and safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One (1) year of experience in manufacturing, electrical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, maintenance, military electronics, or technical training.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Ability to use measuring and test equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related field.
• Three (3)+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or repair.
• Experience troubleshooting motors, sensors, controls, or industrial equipment.
• Experience using multimeters and electrical test equipment.
• Understanding of industrial controls and instrumentation.
• Lean manufacturing and 5S experience.
