In this key role as a member of the US Business Development team, you will be responsible for selling Rentschler’s portfolio of development and manufacturing services to biotech and pharmaceutical companies to contribute to the company’s market share growth. This role reports to the Head of Business Development, US.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities resulting in acquisition of new clients for Rentschler’s US and EU facilities. Convey Rentschler’s value proposition and capabilities effectively to prospective clients Solicit requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), requests for quotations (RFQs), from existing and prospective clients.Drive the sales process from initial client contact to contract execution.Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve annual sales targetsContribute to company revenue and market share growth.Partner with cross-functional teams (technical, legal, marketing) within the organization to deliver solutions for clientsInitiate and coordinate customer site visits with functional departments Utilize designated CRM to track and follow up on all client leads,Represent the company at local conferences Build a collaborative working relationship with cross-functional peers to advance client acquisitionEducation and QualificationsStrong sales/business development performanceA bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences10 years sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry (cell culture preferred).An established network within the biopharmaceutical sector is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, business objects, requiredWillingness to travel approximately 25-40% (international and domestic)Working ConditionsOffice environmentLabPhysical RequirementsPPE as required____________________________________________________________________________Base Pay Range$180,000 - $210,000Disclosure StatementRentschler Biopharma, Inc is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
