Our goal is to provide the best possible treatment in a comfortable atmosphere.About the JobThe Medical Assistant is responsible for performing delegated clinical and administrative functions in the care of patients, under the direct supervision of a provider and Practice Manager.What You’ll DoParticipate in patient care in person, via telephone, and telehealth under provider supervisionAdminister medications, treatments, immunizations, and perform point-of-care testingCollect and communicate patient history and health information to providersRelay provider instructions and care plans to patientsDocument procedures, interventions, and communications in the medical recordAssist with pre-visit preparation and patient outreachPerform administrative duties including scheduling and medical records tasksMentor and train new staff as directedAdhere to safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelinesMaintain current certifications and participate in ongoing educationWho You AreEducation: High school diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a Medical Assistant program or 3 years of MA experienceCertifications: Current BLS/CPR certification requiredExperience: Previous experience in a patient-facing roleOne year in a medical or healthcare setting preferredKnowledge and Skills: Medical terminology and office workflowEMR systems and Windows-based applicationsStrong communication, time management, and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask, adapt, and work collaborativelyWhy You’ll Love UsFlexible day shift hours no weekendsHealth, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time and part-time employeesCompetitive payTuition reimbursement403(b) Retirement Savings PlanEducation and paid training courses for continued career progression& more!
