Online Hindi Instructor (Remote)

This is a remote online position. Hindi instructors residing in any country are invited to apply for a contract teaching role at Language Bird. We are a premier, accredited Online Language School seeking to expand our team of Hindi language instructors for the upcoming school year (2026‑2027) to teach high school and middle school Hindi courses online. Our students are typically between the ages of 12 and 18 years old and are mostly taking Hindi to fulfill their high school World Language requirement. We offer Middle School and High School Levels 1‑6+, conversational, and test/prep courses. Our curriculum is ACTFL‑aligned; we do not use a textbook but rely on ACTFL Can‑Do Statements and real‑world communication contexts to guide the lessons. Our syllabi are designed to accommodate a textbook‑free context. We offer a Resource Library to guide instructors, but they are expected to create/use their own teaching materials. We follow Project‑Based Learning and do not assess using quizzes, tests, or exams. Responsibilities Teach one‑on‑one online lessons using Microsoft Teams. Assign and correct homework assignments and projects. Track grades and students’ progress. Focus on student engagement and student success. Demonstrate genuine respect for all students. Requirements 1‑2+ years of experience teaching Hindi (online and/or in a school setting). Native‑like language proficiency. Bachelor’s Degree. Familiarity with technology and Microsoft Office. Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
