ReceptionistWe are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our Resident Services team as Receptionist. As the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, the Receptionist is crucial in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive atmosphere within our community. Your responsibilities will include greeting and assisting visitors, answering phone calls, managing appointments, and providing general administrative support. In serving this commitment, we seek to provide a positive and supportive work environment.ResponsibilitiesHelp visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately.Answer, screen, and forward any incoming phone calls while presenting essential information when neededReceive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.Manage security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)Complete other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, scanning, etc.QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating, mainly by phone, with individuals of all ages, especially the senior populationExcellent telephone and communication skillsStrong computer skills using word processing, spreadsheet, and database programsStrong organizational and time management skillsResourceful and proactive, able to deal with issues as they ariseCapacity to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressureA high school diploma or equivalent, with two years of similar experience, is required.Associate's degree or equivalent with one year of similar experience preferred
