Clerical Support Clerk (Warehouse)
Temp to Hire
Pay: $17.00 per hour

Position Summary
The Clerical Support Clerk provides administrative and operational support within a warehouse environment. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing shipping and receiving documentation, entering data into warehouse management systems, and assisting with communication between warehouse personnel, drivers, and customers. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately.
• Enter and maintain data in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Verify bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping manifests.
• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments and communicate with carriers and drivers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare reports, filing, and documentation for warehouse operations.
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide administrative support to warehouse supervisors.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
• Assist with resolving shipping discrepancies and customer inquiries.
• Ensure all paperwork complies with company policies and safety procedures.
• Perform general office duties, including scanning, copying, filing, and document management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous clerical, administrative, or warehouse office experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with WMS, ERP, or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments as needed.
