Summary:

**Required Experience and Skills:** - 2+ years of experience - Post-operative open heart care experience - Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access - Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips - Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities - Experience with chest tube and other drain management - Experience with assisting with chest tube removal and removal of pericardial pacing wires - Management of temporary pacers, including pericardial and transcutaneous devices - Use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices and high-flow oxygen systems - Must float to all units within skill level **Highly Preferred Experience:** - Critical Care Experience **Required Certifications and Licensure:** - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License **Documentation Requirements:** - Work history - Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (PCU) **Certifications:** - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) **State Licenses:** - Ohio
