Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition

Job Description Summary: The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition (US) is a key leader on Rocket Software’s Talent Acquisition team. This is a player-coach role responsible for leading the US recruiting team while personally owning a portfolio of high-impact, revenue-generating requisitions. The role partners closely with GTM and People leaders to translate business strategies into hiring plans, with a primary focus on Sales and other GTM roles across all levels. This leader will build and execute hiring strategies, develop scalable recruiting programs, and strengthen Rocket’s ability to attract and assess top talent. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in driving Rocket’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across the US by shaping the candidate narrative and elevating the overall recruiting experience. The ideal candidate is an expert sourcer, highly analytical, comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to leaders, and confident leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, quality, and stakeholder experience. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both team leadership and direct recruiting ownership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the US Recruiting team, including hiring, onboarding, goal setting, performance management, coaching, development planning, and workload balancing. Operate as a player-coach, leading the team while personally owning a portfolio of high-impact, revenue-generating requisitions. Build a high-performing, customer-focused team culture across a distributed environment. Own end-to-end recruiting delivery across a core set of GTM requisitions Partner with Sales and GTM leaders to define position requirements, sourcing strategies, and interview plans. Provide consultative guidance on market conditions, talent availability, and hiring process improvements. Develop and implement scalable hiring strategies and recruiting programs for priority GTM segments, including pipeline initiatives, sourcing strategies, referral campaigns, and talent communities. Drive Rocket’s EVP across the US by shaping the candidate narrative and elevating key recruiting touchpoints. Lead by example as an advanced sourcer, using talent mapping, targeted outreach, and competitive intelligence to build proactive pipelines for critical and recurring roles. Use data and dashboards to monitor recruiting effectiveness, including speed, quality, funnel conversion, and pipeline health, and translate insights into actionable improvements. Leverage and drive adoption of AI-enabled recruiting tools and automation to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across the recruiting lifecycle. Establish operating rhythms and deliver executive-ready reporting that highlights progress, risks, and recommended actions. Build and deliver executive-level updates using data-driven insights and clear recommendations. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions through strong business acumen and clear communication. Partner cross-functionally with People Business Partners, Total Rewards, and Finance to support hiring plans and offer decisions. Deliver a high-touch, responsive experience for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring proactive communication and a strong sense of urgency. Champion inclusive and structured evaluation practices to ensure a consistent and equitable hiring process. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 10 years of progressive recruiting experience, with a strong preference for a blend of corporate and agency background. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of people management experience, including demonstrated success in coaching, performance management, and development planning. Proven experience recruiting in enterprise software or SaaS environments, with strong GTM and Sales hiring expertise. Demonstrated success recruiting and closing talent across multiple levels, including senior leadership partnership. Expert-level sourcing capabilities, including passive talent mapping and building pipelines for competitive, revenue-generating roles. Strong data and analytics capability, with the ability to interpret metrics and use insights to drive decisions and improvements. Experience leveraging recruiting technology and AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and outcomes. Proven ability to drive adoption of new tools and processes that improve team efficiency. Experience designing and executing scalable recruiting strategies and programs. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment. Strong executive communication skills, including presenting data-driven insights to senior leaders. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and a strong sense of urgency. Experience working in a distributed workforce while maintaining a strong focus on candidate and stakeholder experience. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). #LI-Remote Annual salary range for this position is between $125,000.00 - $168,750.00 gross before taxes. .
