Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate Attorney A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in sophisticated bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring matters. Compensation $235,000 – $390,000+ Ideal Background 4+ years of bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, or creditors' rights experience Experience representing debtors, secured lenders, unsecured creditors, committees, investors, or other parties in Chapter 11 proceedings, workouts, and out-of-court restructurings Experience handling bankruptcy litigation, insolvency proceedings, distressed transactions, and related restructuring matters Experience drafting and negotiating restructuring agreements, financing documents, pleadings, and other bankruptcy-related documents Experience with bankruptcy court practice, motion practice, discovery, and contested matters preferred Experience with distressed M&A transactions and insolvency-related litigation is a plus Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to independently manage matters while working directly with clients Excellent academic credentials J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted Why This Opportunity Sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring platform Exposure to complex Chapter 11 proceedings and distressed transactions Significant client interaction and responsibility Strong mentorship and professional development Collaborative national platform Partnership-track opportunity Aligned Talent Acquisition
