- Performing thorough patient evaluations, orchestrating diagnostic tests, and tailoring individualized treatment plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, either independently or in collaboration with fellow physicians
- Educating patients and families about health promotion, prevention strategies, and disease management
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care coordination
- Partnering with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care
- Meticulously documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment combined with an empathetic bedside manner
- Exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Ability to thrive in quick-paced, patient-focused settings
- Proficient in EMR systems and comfortable with telehealth innovations
