Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Lubbock, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening/Night Shift | 3×12 Hours | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week

Weekly Gross: $2,000–$2,100 (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center environment. The ideal candidate will have strong ER experience and the ability to provide safe, efficient care to patients with varying levels of acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Assess, monitor, and care for patients in a high-acuity, fast-paced ER environment.
• Maintain an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:3 .
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.
• Follow established clinical policies, safety standards, and infection prevention practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Work required weekends, approximately 6 weekends per 6-week period .
• Block scheduling is available but not required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience – hardstop requirement.
• Active RN license in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week .
• No on-call requirement.
• 48-hour workweeks are not approved.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and emergency response skills.
