Senior Software EngineerA well-established consumer media and technology company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Engineering team. This is a senior, high-impact seat — not just executing tickets, but helping shape what gets built, how the team works, and how engineers around you grow. You'll work across the full stack on some of the company's most technically challenging problems, partnering closely with product and design to drive outcomes rather than just ship features.What you'll do:Lead the design and delivery of complex, cross-cutting features across the full stack, from scoping through productionDrive architectural decisions within your domain, balancing near-term delivery with long-term maintainability and scalePartner with product managers and designers to shape requirements and advocate for the right solution, not just the fastest oneSet the bar in code review with thoughtful, constructive feedbackProactively identify and address technical debt, reliability gaps, and systemic riskMentor and develop mid-level and associate engineers through pairing and hands-on feedbackHelp shape team-level engineering strategy — testing, deployment, observability, and engineering excellenceWe recognize strong candidates may not check every box.
