Senior Digital Health Zone Sales Lead Acute Care

About the Role We are seeking a Digital Health Zone Sales Manager to lead sales execution for Medtronic’s HealthCast portfolio across the Northeast and mid‑Atlantic states. This executive‑level, individual‑contributor role requires a valid driver’s license and a residency within the assigned territory. The position involves 50‑70% travel, including overnights, and is suited for candidates based in Boston, Philadelphia, the greater NYC area or Northern New Jersey. Key Responsibilities Own aggressive lead generation, prospect outreach, and appointment setting to create and grow sales opportunities. Develop, execute, and grow a zone sales strategy through clear target profiling and account segmentation. Maintain a zone pipeline 10X the assigned quota and exceed quarterly Financial goals. Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly zone forecasts and offer strategic input to improve HealthCast positioning. Partner with Regional Business Managers, other sales reps, and cross‑functional teams to win new business and deepen existing accounts. Build and nurture relationships with key buyers, including IT leaders, CIOs, Medical/Clinical managers, and nurses, to accelerate solution adoption. Support ACM National Accounts and Strategy Partnerships in closing HealthCast opportunities. Account Management Coordinate service delivery with Operations, Sales Engineers, and Professional Services teams. Replicate client internal and cross‑functional coordination to implement solutions and address ongoing technical needs. Assist the Professional Services team with implementation oversight and escalated customer situations. Drive organic growth and penetration of existing services into new areas within an account. Key Medtronic Stakeholder Collaboration Provide strategic input and customer intelligence to R&D partners quarterly. Enhance competitive intelligence by researching competitor strategies and sharing findings monthly with Marketing. Partner with Marketing to develop key customer collateral. Offer strategic input to Sales Operations and Professional Services teams to optimize performance and revenue. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 10+ years of relevant experience* OR Associate’s Degree AND 8+ years of relevant experience* OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years of relevant experience*. *Experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, life sciences, or related sales/clinical roles. Nice to Have Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred. Minimum 7 years of strategic selling or related software/informatics sales experience in acute hospital care. Experience with modern software development methodologies, architecture, infrastructure design, and wireless technologies. Strong technical project management and documentation skills. Background in EMR/EHR or medical device connectivity. Track record of cross‑functional leadership and managing multiple complex projects. Deep knowledge of commercial sales structures and processes. Experience in coaching and change leadership. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Commitment to ethical conduct and integrity. Benefits & Compensation Base Salary (USD): 130,000.00 per year, with an eligible Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) for exceeding zone targets.
