What can you expect as a Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service (Pawn Shop)?

This position will give you the opportunity to interact daily with customers, helping them with sales and enjoying the negotiation process to reach satisfactory agreements on items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and much more.

As part of our in-store customer service team, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set us apart from the competition.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing excellent customer service by greeting and interacting with them in person and over the phone.
• Processing sales, loans, and extensions.
• Performing store opening and closing duties.

Requirements for the position

As a member of our customer service team, you must be highly motivated, have a positive and sociable attitude, as well as a strong work ethic. Excelling in customer service and building relationships will allow you to grow within EZCORP.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in customer service, cash handling, or retail sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check (conducted after a conditional offer).
• Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, and electronics (desirable).
• Sales experience (desirable).
• Bilingual (desirable).
