As a Coaxial Splicer, you will be part of a team of construction professionals who produce high-quality work using specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, problem-solving, and making a difference. You will update the existing plant, plant extensions, and construction of new buildings. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you are ready for the challenge. Additionally, you will perform the following tasks:

• Splicing, sweeping, and troubleshooting existing aerial and underground cables.
• Optimizing new nodes and splicing node divisions to reduce capacity.
• Using RF meters and time domain reflectometers (TDR).
• Reading CATV telecommunications designs and blueprints.
• Working on outdoor utility construction sites.

Qualifications:

About you: Safety is a value that guides your life. You have at least 1-3 years of experience in splicing and sweeping. You are comfortable working on ladders or in a bucket truck. You have the ability to solve difficult problems and enjoy a practical approach to your work. You have a proven track record of completing work with a high level of quality. You are flexible and enjoy a variety of shifts, including overtime. You have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card for driving purposes (applicants are subject to an MVR review, and must meet company standards for a safe driving history). MOS codes B05A, 3D157, 6423, B05A, 5699 relate well to this position.

Initial pay from $24 to $28 per hour, depending on experience. Hard work has its rewards. Heres what youll get for your effort:
