Clean Team Inc. is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator to support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, interviewing candidates, coordinating hiring activities, and helping organizations attract top talent. Whether you have previous recruiting experience or a strong background in customer service, administration, staffing, or human resources, we encourage you to apply.

Position Details
  • Job Title: Staffing Coordinator

  • Location: Kentwood, Michigan

  • Job Type: Part-Time

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday

  • Hours: Approximately 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible)

  • Work Setting: On-Site

  • Hiring Status: Immediate Opening

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Human Resources and Recruiting team, you will play a critical role in identifying qualified candidates and supporting the employee hiring process from application through onboarding.

Responsibilities include:

  • Source, recruit, and engage candidates for multiple open positions

  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified talent

  • Conduct phone interviews, virtual interviews, and in-person interviews

  • Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and department leaders

  • Create, update, and manage job postings on Indeed and other recruiting platforms

  • Maintain candidate pipelines and applicant tracking records

  • Communicate with applicants regarding employment opportunities and hiring status

  • Process background checks, employment verification, and pre-employment requirements

  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities

  • Prepare employment documentation and onboarding paperwork

  • Support employee file management and HR recordkeeping

  • Assist with staffing initiatives, workforce planning, and recruitment campaigns

  • Provide administrative and office support for Human Resources operations

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and applicant information

  • Deliver a positive candidate and new-hire experience throughout the hiring process

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer applications

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Professional and dependable work ethic

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, human resources, onboarding, or employee relations

  • Previous administrative assistant, office coordinator, or customer service experience

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field

  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Indeed, or online recruiting tools

  • Knowledge of hiring, onboarding, and employment documentation processes
