Front of House Supervisor

Formaggio Kitchen is a unique gourmet food shop in Cambridge. For over 40 years, we have hand‑selected the finest artisan products from Europe and North America, including small production cheeses, charcuterie, handmade sweets, rare spices, pantry staples, natural wines, craft beers, and freshly baked breads from local bakeries. Our Front of House team of cashiers provides knowledgeable and efficient service to our customers, every day! Supervisor Responsibilities Open the shop in the morning and/or close the shop at night Handle customer complaints, returns, requests Recognize what needs to be done/stocked in each part of the store. Compile a list of tasks and delegate Understand and enforce store policies Be able to react calmly in emergency situations We have both part‑time and full‑time positions available, with a preference for weekend and closing availability. Applicants must be friendly and hard‑working. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of retail or restaurant experience Extensive food knowledge and a thirst for learning Exemplary customer service Compensation This position is hourly, $20–$21/hour, commensurate with experience.
