TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, 66209!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: ACLS or PALS preferred Description: Number of beds: 16 Number of staff: 20 Day shift includes one Charge RN and 1-2 other RNs. Night shift includes one Point person and 1-2 other RNs. One LPN each shift if full at 15/16 patients. One PCT each shift if full at 15/16 patients. No PIC. Type of equipment includes Welch Allens. Documentation system: EMR - Meditech. Scheduling requirements: Three 12-hour shifts with rotating every third weekend. Floating policy applies to any medical floor. Rehab documentation knowledge is preferred for patient experience. Skills required include basic dysthymia class as a nice to have. Procedures performed on the unit include post-stroke patients, surgical patients (neuro or ortho), and medical patients that need increased therapy. Preferred certification: CRRN. Dress code includes royal blue tops and bottoms or could have black scrub bottoms. Unit has received an award for distinction in 2021. Staff experience in the inpatient rehab unit averages around 20 years. There is engaged leadership with ample resources for inpatient rehab services. The unit promotes a team atmosphere.
