Description:

Shift: 6pm - 6am

Payrate: $18.50 + $4.00/hour shift differential

Responsibilities:

· Take direction from Machine Operator in support of manufacturing operations. 

· Ability to monitor and recognize proper operation of equipment and machinery. Recognize process upsets, notify Machine Operator and take appropriate actions.

· Work in different areas of line as required.

· Understand requirements and perform Quality Control inspections of product.

· Ability to effectively communicate any issues with other team members.

· Ability to prioritize and respond to shifting demands. 

· Keep workstation area clean and organized

· Document production and process related information as required.

Skills:

· Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to work in a Team environment

· Ability to use hand tools and measurement tools.

Experience: 

· Prior machine operations and experience in manufacturing / industrial setting

· Some understanding or exposure of Lean manufacturing tools and processes is a plus.

Education:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Technical training program and / or skills preferred

· Represent UMS Mfg. in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters

· Comply with occupational safety regulations

· Work in shifts and overtime as required.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.
