Locums - Dorchester, Massachusetts - Primary Care Physician Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible:
  • Family Medicine physician
  • Internal Medicine physician
• Medicare-focused patient population (65+)
• Need is for 3-5 days per week; client is open to considering various availability
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Potential phone call responsibilities
• Average patient volume of 15-18 patients per day
• Comprehensive, team-based primary care model
• Focus on chronic disease management, preventive care, and social support
• Provide both in-clinic and virtual care
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and interdisciplinary team members
• Emphasis on addressing social determinants of health, including housing, food security, and loneliness
• Work alongside another physician and three advanced practice providers
• No APP supervision required
