About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice Provost for Workforce Partnerships and Professional Learning to provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of innovative educational models that meet the evolving needs of the workforce and align with institutional priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering partnerships across academic and administrative units, leading the growth of a sustainable portfolio of professional graduate degrees, certificates, and other credentialed workforce programs, and ensuring that these offerings advance the company's mission through educational innovation and economic development. This role requires an individual with a Master's degree, significant academic leadership experience, and a proven track record in launching and managing professional education programs. Key responsibilities for the Vice Provost include organizational strategy and portfolio management, building strategic partnerships with industry and other organizations, and providing executive oversight for the operational infrastructure supporting professional learning programs. The role demands a leader with an entrepreneurial drive, the ability to manage multi-stakeholder curriculum rollouts, and a strong focus on financial leadership to develop self-sustaining financial models for educational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate, experience in securing workforce education grants, and a deep understanding of faculty governance, academic decision-making, and institutional policy. Excellent communication, relationship-building skills, and the ability to travel regularly are also essential for this position.
