Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Structural Stick Welders for a shop job Shelbyville, KY. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, and performing welds using Stick welding process.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication plans
Fit and assemble structural steel components according to specifications
Perform Stick welding to secure assemblies
Verify measurements, alignments, and tolerances for accuracy
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements
Previous experience as a Structural Welder in the field
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to work overtime and maintain reliable attendance
Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including drug testing and background check
