Ready to make an impact at Worthington Enterprises? Join our team! We are hiring for Welders on 2nd (3pm-11pm Monday through Friday) and 3rd (11pm-7am Sunday through Thursday) shifts. Here in Jefferson, we produce cylinders used in heating systems, refrigerant recovery, and fire suppression. Sounds cool, right? Competitive Pay: We pay for experience, but minimum starting pay is $21.00 - $23.00 plus $1.50 shift differential.Potential for pay increase after completing probationary period. Sign-On Bonus : We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus for new employees, and another $1,000 bonus after your first year. Overtime Pay: Time-and-a-half for hours over 40/week and double-time for hours over 48/week. Profit Sharing: Quarterly profit-sharing with no cap. See your hard work pay off. Job Responsibilities Perform assembly, testing, material handling, welding, press room operation, and paint line operation. Follow detailed production instructions to manufacture quality parts safely. Detect and address defects and quality issues. Accurately count, label, and handle small parts. Maintain safety standards by following all policies and procedures. Desired Experience/Skills and Qualifications Ability to handle physical, repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods. Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to read and follow detailed instructions. Familiarity with part numbers, sizes, and quality detection. Forklift and crane licenses are a plus. Basic English proficiency is requiredto read safety instructions, understand work orders, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
