responsibilities:

• Direct daily plant operations and supervise operating personnel to ensure safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant power generation.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, control expenditures, and establish staffing coverage to maintain continuous plant operations and emergency response readiness.
• Oversee biomass fuel logistics, including receiving, handling, storage, inventory, and quality monitoring to ensure peak combustion efficiency.
• Evaluate the performance of boilers, steam turbines, generators, emissions controls, and auxiliary systems while partnering with maintenance to coordinate repairs and outages.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, environmental permits, and water chemistry programs, including oversight of SCR and particulate-control systems.

qualifications:
Demonstrated operations leadership experience in a power generation or heavy industrial environment, with biomass or thermal plant experience preferred.

Strong technical background in boiler operations, steam turbine generation, water treatment, and emissions control technologies.

Proven capability in budget management, regulatory and environmental compliance, emergency preparedness, and personnel development.
