Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Endoscopy / GI Lab to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care specializing in endoscopic procedures including bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and EGD.
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation, ensuring patient safety during sedation and recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and care quality.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Engage in specimen handling and labeling in compliance with facility protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required with valid CA RN license.
• Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in GI/Endoscopy or pre/post-operative nursing.
• Proficiency with the Epic charting system is required.
• Experience in recovering patients from monitored anesthesia care sedation.
• Exceptional ability to perform IV initiation and management of sedation.
